Who We Are
The Athens Coalition for Companion Animals is a diverse yet invested group of
people representing the interests of companion animals in the City of Athens,
Athens County and surrounding areas in Ohio.
While our individual philosophies
regarding animals may differ, each of us is alike in that we are concerned for
the overall welfare of dogs, cats and other companion animals in our region.
Besides caring residents of Athens and Athens County, our coalition includes the
Athens County Humane Society, Pound Rescue of Athens and the Athens Animal
Rights Coalition.
A Coalition of Compassion
We believe that political action, humane education
and heightening public awareness of the plights our animal friends face are our
greatest tools for promoting positive change.
